KNOW-HOW | HEAT TREATMENTS

Heat treating is a metalworking process used to alter the physical, and sometimes chemical, properties of a material. The most common application is metallurgical.
Heat treatment involves the use of heating or chilling, normally to high temperatures, to achieve a desired result such as hardening or softening of a material.

HTF has its own furnaces, and heat treatment techniques under NADCAP surveillance including annealing, case hardening, precipitation strengthening, tempering, normalizing and quenching.

HTF is qualified by Manufacturers and OEMs worldwide and treats own or third parties parts up to a qualified heating zone of 3.950 x 1.450 x 1.150 (mm) – 155 x 57 x 45 (inches).
